Liz Kalina
Vice President, Communications and Patient Advocacy
Liz Kalina is a Mom. She also is Vice President, Communications and Patient Advocacy for Ipsen North America. Liz leads external reputation, employee communications and engagement with advocacy and industry organizations.
With more than 20 years of experience in dynamic healthcare settings, Liz brings clarity to complex situations.
Before joining Ipsen, Liz led teams responsible for global internal and global portfolio and country communications for Alexion, with a focus on Western Europe, U.S., and Japan. At Shire, she held various communication and engagement roles in the areas of rare disease, immunology and hematology—from early pipeline to established portfolio. Earlier in her career Liz served in senior agency positions in the U.S. and Asia Pacific. She has led multi-year advocacy programs, corporate communications, change management and rapid response for blue-chip and start-up clients.
Liz is a graduate of Drury University.
